The end of summer will mean the beginning of a new vacation from reality on Netflix, when the original animated series Haunted Hotel invites viewers to check in on September 19. The premiere date and voice cast were announced today for the 2D adult comedy from Matt Roller, known for his work as story editor on Rick and Morty and co-exec producer on Dan Harmon’s latest, Krapopolis.

The series will feature the voices of Emmy-nominated actor Will Forte (The Last Man on Earth, The Great North), Eliza Coupe (Happy Endings, Future Man), Skyler Gisondo (The Righteous Gemstones, Fairfax), Natalie Palamides (Duncanville, The Powerpuff Girls) and Emmy nominee Jimmi Simpson (Westworld, Star Trek: Prodigy).

Logline: A single mother of two struggles to run a haunted hotel with the help of her estranged brother, who is now one of the ghosts haunting the hotel and thinks the other ghosts have some pretty good ideas.

Haunted Hotel is executive produced by Chris McKenna, Dan Harmon (creator of Rick and Morty), Steve Levy and Matt Roller, with Erica Hayes, another Rick and Morty alum, as supervising director. Titmouse will is the show’s animation studio, and Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina also acting as executive producers.
