Good comedians are often people who complain about life's bullshit in a funny way, so why not?

People who go around complaining about their lives unprompted are energy vampires and are a pain to be around.
Being in a room where that's the theme? Yuck.
- Everyone needs a space for venting, so maybe this concept would let people purge and be generally more pleasant to be around?
  
  I think the difference is some people need to vent once in a while, but other people make it their personality to simply always be angry at everything and everyone. Those people should always be avoided because they do drain your own energy and motivation in life.

That sounds like group therapy with booze. Sounds awesome, actually.
- Group therapy with an established group doesn't need booze. And you can always get a drink afterwards
