Can't wait for this to affect things like our infrastructure and medical equipment. There are a lot more things than just dolls that come from China. And all those republicans that are talking about cutting back on their consumerism are going to be pretty shocked when they realize they can't even buy half of their kids school supplies when summer is over.
But according to Trump math, he said since the US imports a trillion dollars of Chinese goods, if he just makes tariffs so high nobody can buy any of it he saved you 1 trillion dollars.
Never mind the fact that you don't have the stuff you need and will end up paying more if you can even get it at all...

The boats that are coming in are a lot less laden with goods from China and a bit less from elsewhere.
