New to Fedora and loving it! Question about immutable UBlue Fedora images

G'day all!

I am reasonably new to Fedora coming from Arch (btw) and I love it. As a dev and gamer with an AMD card it has run like a dream. I am very grateful to the developers and community responsible for Fedora, you guys are amazing, thank you for your hard work.

Now that the brown nosing is done - onto my question!

I have been seeing a lot of chatter on this sub reddit around immutable distros and decided to take a look and to my delight I realized I am the target audience.

I already basically treat my Fedora KDE like an immutable distro, favoring containerization and figured maybe I would use Kinoite.

This went well but there were a few things missing that stopped short of it being perfect for me; I prefer the steam package and I am not a fan of the flatpak, Distrobox (prefer it over Toolbox) and BoxBuddy. I figured maybe I could layer them but would of much preferred them be apart of the original image if possible.

After seeing some chatter here I discovered UBlue images aas an option and they seem great, I really like that they are just images with some goodies packed in rather than total distro changes or forks. If the UBlue team ever just disappeared from a Thanos snap, the image would keep on ticking more or less as all the updates just come from Fedora and the apps it has onto are (from what I understand) just packages they have added in from the standard and non-free repos.

So underneath is that good ol' Fedora we know and love but with some packages, drivers, codecs etc.

I figured maybe I'd create my own image, but found that Bazzite (their gaming image) basically had all the things I wanted, and was opinionated in just the right way for my use cases. Noice.

As I am still pretty new I guess I just wanted to do a sanity check with the community before I dived into using any of their images whether there is anything I am missing? Is there any reason to stay away? Any nasties hiding I may have missed?

I did a hefty amount of reading over posts here, but I think it's always worth checking with the hive mind, if this is the wrong place for this I am sorry.
