Logitech are fucking dead to me after the shit they pulled with the harmony remotes.
Don't @ me about the age of the hardware, it's the practice they still do today: make hardware dependant on their services, then cripple them when they feel like it. You cannot trust them

You didn't seriously think China or Logitech was going to pay that tariff, did you? Be prepared for a LOT of stuff to cost more.
- The way tariffs work is companies pass on the cost of those tariffs directly to consumers by raising their prices. THAT'S how tariffs work.
  Nobody is getting "punished" by this except consumers.

Canada price is up like the US price, unacceptable.

  I’m definitely gonna be doing some price research across regions and pre/post Apr 2025 before buying anything from now on. I’m not purchasing product from companies who socializing the US tariff costs to other nations.
  
  I hated Canada because of this relationship. I have been asking for a long time for Canada to get some backbone and not rely on the USA for everything. This is finally our time to shine.

Maybe tariffs were just a way to convert what could have been corporate greed into Trumpian incompetence

- That's what I did. Bought new processor, graphics card, monitor OLED wide-screen, all last year. I knew this shit was coming. These pieces will last me well past this orange fuck face.

Red dragon stuff is pretty ok, just saying.
- I got secret santa'd a Red Dragon mechanical Keyboard and ended up buying a matching mouse & speakers.
  I recommend them to anyone who asks.

Logitech was already overpriced and poor quality.

  There aren't really many alternatives readily available
  The hardware has gotten a lot better, but they're really not targeting the high the market anyway
  
  The MX Master 2S fared better than one MX Master 3 and the 3S I got from an RMA...

  I also own two vertical mices, their most expensive ones. They are built like shit and ive had to replace switches multiple times. I moved to protoarc trackball for everything but gaming. I will be replacing my logi with keychron m5 as its "premium material" has completely disintegrated in like 5 years and its just nasty.
- I still have my Logitech BT mouse from 2005. Still working great. Are their newer products bad?
  
  Yeah, my old logi from pre 2010 are nice but now jts just low quality overpriced stuff with switched that constantly fail.
  
  Google "Logitech mouse double clicking". If you don't get top of the line, good chance you'll be double clicking in 6 months of moderate use.
- My 2 g502 mice and 3 keyboards in use, one from 2004, beg to differ.
  
  Gonna call bullshit on that one. I've been using the G502 for years and I like the feel of it. I've gone through 3 and keep a spare in box for when it starts to double click. The X has been chugging for a couple of years now, but I've used a lot of mice, I really shouldn't have to spend $80 to get a mouse that lasts more than 6 months.
  Still, they absolutely want to force people to a monthly fee.
- Wait till you discover their main racing wheel is a 25 year old design that they remove features from and raise the price with every re release. Logi is a shit company. There is 0 reason to buy any of their stuff.

Whew... The F310 is still $19.99.

- I need a new one of those little dongles, where can I find the STL?
- Can I 3d print something like the g602 mouse? I can solder components together and do a little programming if need be but designing something like that is way over my head. Not being able to find a replacement for that thing is killing me.

  It looks like you can buy a fully assembled mouse, a build it yourself kit, or do it from scratch with the schematics. Doesn't come with quite as many side buttons though
  
  Try the Statial B. You can adjust it to meet almost any shape you need.
  Note, it can be printed with an FDM, but it'll need a 0.2mm nozzle and really good tuning. Some of the parts were a pain to print for me

  My main complaint is that the Statial B only has 2 thumb buttons, and I'd prefer to have at least 4. I've considered modifying the design of the relevant plate, but there's still the issue of not having ports to wire the switches to the raspberry pi it runs on.
  I also have a ploopy mouse like the other commenter mentioned. It's definitely not a replacement for a G602 (that's also the mouse I used before switching to open source), but it gets the job done. I just need to buck up and finish assembling the Statial B
