Whats your thoughts on women in their 40's?
Based on your age I'd guess you have different opinions but what's your thoughts on women in their 40's? Would you date one? Sleep with one? What attitude do you expect them to have in bed etc.
I'm a 40yo mother of 2 who has recently become single again. I'm hesitant to get back on the dating/hookup scene. But if anyone does want to chat then my messages are open.
I have friends in that age range and they're still hot, so.. if someone from that age wanted to date and I wasn't already in a relationship I'd be down to give it a shot honestly :3
I'm in my early 30s. I don't think I'd date a woman in her 40s just because I'm interested in people closer my age range, maybe +-4 years or so, so late 20s to mid 30s. I'd 100% sleep with women in their 40s if they wanted a casual hookup (and I were single). I honestly would have no expectations in how they should act in bed because every person is going to be unique regardless of age.
Late 30's , male here. Women in their 40's imho are the renewed teen but with elevated libido safe for other health issue. The ladies in their forties that i have met seem to be confident enough to know what they want or dont want in regular or social life. I would like to have a chat if you are still open as the title says.

My fiancée is a little bit younger than I, but not much. Age really doesn't matter to me. When I was younger, forty seemed old. Now, I realise that age is a state of mind more than anything

For me it was like being a teenager again but with less frustration because I got more sex. But that sex drive coming out of nowhere was startling - I think maybe your body thinks last chance for offspring, go go go! Like, I run hot usually but early 40s literally felt like 17-20 did.
It was when I learned I was able to have multiple O and also to get off from PIV.

I think you may also be underestimating what a hot commodity you are. I expected to have trouble but when I decided I might try dating more seriously, my handful of casual guys were so interested, I wasn’t because I didn’t like them in that way, but guess even they were fucking around because they hadn’t found someone to settle down with, not because they didn’t want to.
Tbf, I don't expect sex as much as I did when I was younger but I do expect it to involve the stuff I like more so maybe that comes into play more
Yes. Be very open about what you want, what you like. Older guys slow down while we speed up but they have stamina and the ones who like sex are, in my experience, open minded.
Mid 50s now and still everyday lady, but it's not as crazy intense as that 40-45, that was insane, just very strong pleasure. Some of it, as you say, from aligning with my preferences, but I'm quite convinced there is a hormonal boost at that age too.

That said, I'd been with much older women in my early 20s, had some wonderful times with a woman in her 50s.

Early 30's. Yes, yes, and there is no expectation of an attitude although I'd probably expect you to have a better idea of what you do and don't want. With age comes experience.
Don't worry so much about feeling desirable or sexy because of your age or because you're a mom. You are still desirable and sexy! The older you get though, especially if kids are involved, the more difficult dating becomes in general just because you've got more roots down and you've got to keep your kids in mind for any dating decisions. Take things at your own pace, but don't let your fears make you miss out on experiencing and living life!

Don't worry about what people think of you! You now have the freedom to find the true you (if you already haven't). Take it slow, figure out what you want your future to be like.
If you are just semi close to being a regular person, as a woman, you can always find someone who would sleep with you or date you. Don't take the first guy (or girls, if that's your thing) who gives you some attention, thinking that's all you can get. You will have choices. Of course it's also okay to take the first person or just ask them to cuddle with you a bit, or pound your brain out until sunrise, if that's what you need.
Be true to yourself, and don't try to act a certain way in bed, to try and please others. If you can't be yourself while being intimate, it's not worth it (unless you're into the more exotic stuff, maybe hold back on that the first time!). Don't worry about how you look while being intimate either. Chill, enjoy relax!

54 here. 40s are peak womanhood for many. 50s women can be crazy hot, but it's far more rare. In either case, they're mature women who tend to know what they want. OTOH, we all have baggage by middle age, so there's that.
I am closer to your age and agree. I still run hot, like it's always simmering but 45 was my vampire age, the age I would have kept if at all possible. Even though I feel physically a little better now, like healthier, that intense sex drive and also just a little too skinny fits my preferences for myself and I did feel really good overall.
@ClaireyFairy know their own minds, strong libido, can turn absolutely feral with the right attention and encouragement. Tbh the age thing is pretty much irrelevant other than the fact that lots of people grow into themselves over time, so in these cases age is a positive benefit
As an almost young man, I would date a 40 years old, I would have no problem at all. I have argued a lot over the past, some people think it as too old, but I don't think it that way.
