A phone with multiboot?
Sounds interesting. Ubuntu Touch has been very disappointing in its lack of real progress. We seriously need an alternative to the current Android/iOS duopoly.
I'm about to juat get a sim card for a laptop and run that since I rarely make phone calls anyway.
Isn't Volla's hardware coming from Gigaset? Gigaset makes made in Germany phones but recently was acquired by a Hong Kong company
would be nice if a country that didn't gleefully support genocide would make a product like this but you get what you get i suppose
I always said the framework laptop guys could come out with a Linux-first phone and just put something like PostMarketOS or Mobian on it and be done with it. They at least have a record on letting the parts get replaced/customized.
Any info on repairability, security and OS updates?
fairphone with preinstalled /e/os is a great degoogled ethical and european choice!
Perfect timing for me as I'm looking for a new phone anyway. Let's compare it's features
