Email survey is the easiest to manipulate. I bet they publish the most positive ones, fudge the numbers, maybe toss in some very soft dissent for flavor and realism and voila!
An apparent net positive opinion poll, more advertisement of the new feature set, serving double-duty in reducing appearance of backlash and shamin' away the naysays! Nintendo always has had tight narrative control.

It's legit. Nintendo owns nintendo.net, and when I clicked the link it took me to my account page already logged in, which wouldn't be the case for a phish.
