  • I would celebrate if any of this actually helped average people and reduced inequality.

    But it won't, and it huts us more than them so nothing to celebrate.

    • So how come the Democrats didn't work on all this when they had the power? Pelosi her self was in power for a long time and she didn't do that. Why do you think that is?

      • Because they don't represent most Americans... Idk why everyone thinks that just because I'm not represented by Republicans that I must be a Democrat.

        Democrats only ever fundraise when they have "power". But at lasts they don't try to actively harm Americans for self profit.

    • Me too! Actually I am LOVING the stock market meltdown. It's affected me ZERO percent because I was never rich enough to have millions involved in the stock market anyway! I spent all my income on paying off my debt and staying out of debt. Debt-free life is the only way to be totally free.

    Funny how Pelosi doesn’t seem too worried, though. Oh wait… probably because she knows the market will bounce back.

    So what is it, Lemmy? Are you mad because the market crashed and the rich are losing money, or are you mad because it didn’t crash enough and they’ll end up making money off all the panic sellers?
