This video just reminded me of the optimism I used to have for the future and advancement of technology. China is literally making their barren regions into fertile lands.

Kind of wild, I would guess that this has a large impact on local ecology. Hopefully that is being considered and not only production metrics
The gist is - They've effectively built a bunch of large-scale fisheries. Pretty neat.
