Cat obesity isn't actually funny in real life, it's animal abuse.
Cats are invasive predators and are causing birds to go extinct. They kill 4 billion birds in the lower 48 every year.
Where would a cat get food outside? They rarely eat animals they catch.
But if I comment that on a picture on an obese person, the libs flip out at me.
I forgot humans and cats have the same level of agency to you.
Surprise surprise, you can choose to harm yourself with obesity because it's your own body and it's not anyone else's business. Or you can choose be healthy. The important thing is you get to choose.
Meanwhile pets are separate animals that are completely reliant on their owners to make the right decisions to keep them healthy. If you're a shitty owner feeding them shit food, they don't have the option to choose to eat healthier.
Same reason you can hit your own hand with a hammer and people will be a lot less mad at you than if you hit a cat or dog's paw with a hammer.
