I was ready for this delicacy until I saw the inclusion of baby bees. In a world where food was scarce and bees were plenty, I wouldn’t care. And maybe bees are more plentiful there and it isn’t a big deal. But…I dunno. It doesn’t sit right with me.
- Thr amount of bees that an average colony loses every day to natural hazards is way higher than would be lost with a serving of this.
  
  Okay. Let’s add to the natural loss of baby bees by eating more of them. We don’t need bees anyway.

It sounded good until it got to the part where they leave the bee larvae in it
- Would you prefer adult bees?
- I bet they go pop

  No, just squish. You don't really notice them textureally because of how crunchy the honeycomb is.

I am uncertain as to what this phrase intends:
The bee larvae are voluntarily kept within the honeycomb during the preparation…
- Maybe they meant "intentionally"
  
  I feel like that’s the same thing just from a different perspective?
- The baby bees need to sign a waiver in order to stay
  
  Oh that’s good to hear, based on another person’s comment it seemed like maybe the queen was just offering them up without their consent
- as opposed to doing it on accident or by chance, I think is the intent. They are choosing to keep the bee larvae in.
  
  Are you saying that the Queen Bee is in on it? Like, she just volunteers her little larvae babies to be human snacks?

This sounds like a great way to burn the hell out of your mouth.
