Are people getting laid off yet?
Where I work is definitely looking at layoffs soon. A friend of mine in a b2b raw material supplier for steel, is looking at the same thing.
Anyone else?

Tech workers started getting laid off like 20 months ago... we're following a .com bust trajectory where tech workers get it in '99-2000 and the general mass layoffs are like 2001-2002

Some places issues buy Canada only, so there may be an uptick for certain Canadian manufacturers
