The fact is, the sales of AC Shadows, KCD 2, Split Fiction and MH Wilds show these guys have an insignificant impact on game sales. Anyone arguing otherwise is just fooling themselves.

Veilguard had TONS of Development issues and was reworked at one point after it was originally revealed as a Live Service Game and Concord was just Sony wanting to make a Live Service game without making it good
