I would have liked him more if the writing wasnβt shit. But, judging by the new daredevil, it seems they learned that lesson about that.
I dunno, man, the first plot arc was about how a guy got into a fight with some cops on a subway platform and somehow it's the one platform in NY with no security cameras?
Still better than iron fist
Edit: and I donβt know what you mean by βthe one platform in NY with no security camerasβ since those cameras donβt work a lot of the time. Also, the did have cameras, but some of the fight happened out-of-view. If youβve ever gone to the cops after having gotten pickpocketed on the subway platform, not being able to see shit is pretty much par for the course.
I think if you're going to bring back Iron Fist I'm ok with bringing back Finn Jones as Danny Rand. If you want to bring in a new Iron Fist completely, go for it, although maybe that would work best for a film set in a different time period.
I think with Daredevil back and Punisher back, we should bring the whole gang back, plus some new faces. Let's get a real streets of New York Marvel team together and keep them together.
Probably would have helped if he would have stopped introducing himself:
"Danny Rand, the immortal iron fist, protector of Kun Lun and sworn enemy of the hand."
"That's not gonna fit on the Starbucks cup..."
Get rid of the melodramatic attitude and don't make the greatest martial artist in the world lose to a single goon.
And relative to other recent offerings, will it just seem better?
"Mom, can we get One Punch Man?"
"We have One Punch Man at home."
