Ah, VGA (a Very Good Adapter)
- I se you know your D-subminitures well.

I prefer a good parallel port
- SCSI or GTFO
  
  The VGA plug in OP is part of a series and I bought all three, including the SCSI one (which is objectively the best one)
  
  especially if the cable branches and has a terminator on the dangling remainder.
- 3d print artifacts kind of spoil the retro aesthetic

  I'm pretty sure you can just buy those ends and slap em on
  It's just plastic molding around the connector.
  Edit: it would probably help keep the connections stable by minimizing wiggle. Know how in old phones you've sometimes gotta get that plugged in juuuust right? I'd expect this to help prevent that.

This is actually a cute idea.
I want a Parallel adapter for the iPad.

USB C has a specification for screw locking, so this can happen in the future if it becomes a common practice.
