Even with sunblock my tattoos get uncomfortably hot in the sun. So I just wear long sleeves year round. I also have the pale freckled skintype, which is the most susceptible to skin cancer
If anything I'd expect the opposite; many people with fresh tattoos are constantly applying sunscreen to keep it protected
This fear is pretty much why I don't get one, even if I'd live to get one
