Yes, because the story is just as misleading and spammy over there as it was the dozen or so times it was posted and deleted over here in the Fediverse.
Yeah. For some reason there's a poster who's obsessed with spamming this story everywhere as if it's some kind of unexpected catastrophe for Starlink, he's been creating new usernames every couple of days to keep it up as the old ones get blocked. I guess he finally remembered that Reddit still existed and took a shot at posting it over there now too.
It's part of the routine plan for Starlink to be having defunct satellites deorbit like this. It'd be a problem if they didn't (which won't happen, since they're in extreme LEO and fall down on their own quite quickly when they lose station keeping capability).
