Its something like 20 years overdue for ... what could be a greater than magnitude 9.0 quake.

That'll create a massive tsunami, which'll fuck up pretty much all the most populous cities along the coast of the Puget Sound / Salish Sea.

There's also a not insignificant chance it would set off a bunch of other faultlines around the rest of WA and BC, such as the Seattle Fault, which basically runs right through Seattle.

Oh right, if we get extremely unlucky... basically all of the major mountains in the Cascade Range are actually volcanoes. Lets hope they don't get riled up, even though a 9.0+ CSZ rupture would be so powerful it could also set off the San Andreas fault all the way down in California.
