Microsoft is reportedly killing Skype
Skype's days are numbered, as the Skype apps are now warning users that the service will be going away on May 5, and that existing users should migrate to Teams.
Epic fumbling of the bag. It was ubiquitous. EVERYONE used it. They got greedy and refused to invest in it until Slack was already well past them.
They had moved on to Teams by time Slack was on the scene. Skype has been dead for a long, long time.
Ich mag Skype wirklich nicht. Alles daran schreit "schlechtes Software".
Aber wenn es weg ist muss ich meinen Eltern ein neues Telefonietool für die wöchentliche Familienrunde erklären. Allein deswegen kann ich mich über diese Nachricht freuen.
