I can't believe there are Stalin apologists this day and age. Even if you're a supporter but ran afoul of him, you'd be given the same treatment as Nikolai Yezhov. That is, removed from history.
Such are the ways of Authoritarian dictators.
What you see are more people that accept him as a mixed bag. Yes he was responsible for millions of deaths but he was also one if the few leaders in Soviet or Russian history who directly took action to improve the day to day lives of most Russians.
