I found this channel a few months ago and watching it has made me feel so much better about my personal finances.

This is relevant to my interests. I dated a very successful twitch streamer who makes about 2-3x what this girl is making, and i was kind of shocked by how fast she wanted to spend my money when she realized i was also a high income earner. We would go out to the most expensive restaurants, multiple times a week, and she would make a game out of ordering the most expensive things to see when i would start getting annoyed.
Unfortunately i fell in love with her, and even though i broke up with her, i still care about her. Seeing the way she spends money, I'm convinced that she will be flat broke in a few years. She has all kinds of predatory men offering her 6 figure sums to sleep with them. That story gets progressively darker as she gets older. I don't want that fate for her.
It always baffles me how terrible a lot of streamers are at personal finances. Like, it seems like they lack even basic common sense. I always thought it was pretty basic common sense that if you're making a decent amount of money then you should be putting it away somewhere, like long-term investments, or at the very least in a savings account.
This is especially important when it comes to "new wave" entertainers like twitch streamers, youtubers, tiktok stars, etc. Due to how those platforms are set up, you have basically no rights and they can ban you for any reason they want. They could pull the rug out from under you at any time and there goes your income. You're working without any kind of safety net whatsoever. Sure, you could try migrating to another platform, but I've seen other entertainers attempt it only to return to their original platform because they take a huge hit whenever they do that.

Pretty good follow up! She isn't buckling down as much as Caleb wants, but her spending is below her income which is a great start.
