Nice carvings. What species of wood is that?
- Basswood. Got it off a guy on eBay.

That first pic reminds me of Private.
- It's actually supposed to be Tux, but I'll take that :)

What sort of knives are you working with?
- Just the one knife - a flexcut roughing knife (KN14). I followed dywoodcarving on YouTube for the chick, and made the Tux by myself.
  
  Haha, for anyone else puzzled who's seen dywoodcarving before: "followed dywoodcarving's guide for carving a baby chick"
