Gotta say Android 15 didn't really add anything valuable from my perspective. Everything people actually want to do Google makes sure you can't. I think I need to switch back to GrapheneOS soon. At least that way there isn't a limit of like 4 users.
I hate how much they are locking down Android. If they don't stop that trend before the next time I buy a phone very well could be forced to buy one of those terrible Linux phones.
I don't mind the sandboxing but they need to make things optional for power users. They still don't have limited access for most of their permissions & even GrapheneOS has added more features around that to limit contacts access & more. Things like desktop mode still suck ass even on Pixel phones. Samsung has went above & beyond with Dex to make it polished & yet Google can't make anything but alpha level shit. Their MDM sucks ass too & is clearly geared towards only being supported on Google Workspace Enterprise just like Chrome configuration & management. People don't want to click through a bunch of prompts & menus to reconfigure their phone & desktop to disable all the data collection & spying bullshit they do, and they don't make it easy to configure that stuff automatically when setting up new devices or profiles.
Finally made the switch to GrapheneOS recently. The prompt telling me Google Play didn't have permission to install apps gave me a good chuckle!
