Crysis 4 is on hold as developer Crytek announces layoffs
Crytek is the latest game developer to be hit by layoffs
I swear the only crytek news I ever hear is them announcing layoffs and closures. I don't know how they're still around with no games released in ages.
Their games were an advertisement for their game engine. Cryengine
At one point the Cryengine was going to be the future of gaming and then... Nothing. There were like two games ever to actually use it.
I only know of Crysis and then there was a Slender game made in it.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is pretty damn good imo.
The Crysis games have been dead to me since Crysis 2. Crysis 1 is still a blast to play even today.
I thought Crysis 2 was fun. What didn't you like about it?
Not the person you replied to but I liked the openness in the original a lot more, 2 and 3 were fun but I got nowhere near the replayability. The destruction felt a lot better in the original too from what I remember, crash a truck into a building and cave in part of it which was amazing for my 8500gt at the time... at 8 frames per second haha
