Puzzle Global Catastrophe
It's truly terrifying how many ppl say they liked the warmer January. I get snow and ice suck, but we NEED it for a bountiful spring.
The depressing reality is there are so many ways this could be happening. Is it unaccounted for methane in melting permafrost? Is it the fact carbon dioxide emissions are still increasing, thanks to India and China. Or perhaps some feedback mechanism we don't know about?
"thanks to India and China"
Liberal hogwash to put the blame on countries which produce the slop they all consume. Where do they ship the industrial goods? Chinese industrial development is directly correlated to the offshoring of US industry. US finance companies still dominate global markets and direct the production of billions of dollars of goods and the creation of billions of tons of CO2.
Completely unserious analysis and understanding. You can't seem to see past your own chauvinism.
"emissions are still increasing... thanks to China." I understood China led the world in renewable energy development, their total emissions are still increasing despite that?
That was my understanding. Between that and Modi's stance on fossil fuels ("iT's oUr RiGhT!!1") they're putting a lot out. The US had been dropping (but still put out a lot), but that'll probably end now.
