Donations to Luigi Mangione’s legal defense fund have picked up after a news report that they had slowed down.

I was reading through updates and comments. Some made my eyes leak a little. One of the updates had a mailing address.
just FYI, you may want to double check. From what I know Mangione's legal team said they weren't going to accept the funds, and in the fine print on the web site, in that situation, they will keep your donation, and use it for other cases they support, which included\includes people who comitted treason on J6, neo-nazi's, and other right wing extremist causes.
If lower class would have more money, the donations would be even higher I suppose. I really hope he gets the best lawyers ever to defend him. Imagine the faces on all CEO‘s and conservative politicians when Luigi walks free. Will this be the initiation of The Purge?

Does he even need those donations? I'd think there are other causes who actually need this money.

I think at this point it's more about what the case represents. I don't know how exactly I want this to happen, but I do hope the results of his trial somehow creates positive changes in how insurance companies work.
