I really wish you could block comms when you're banned from them.
I think that's just a Lemmy-UI bug. Try a different frontend and block from there. The blocks are API based, so when you switch back to your main/preferred UI, the block should be there.
...I gave the meme a check because of how silly it looks like. Apparently it's a visual pun, the text can be read like "be a man" (i.e. man up) or "be a leg".
The modlogs of the other comms are equally crazy! I'm genuinely laughing - the guy is clearly trolling. Kind of expected, he has a comm for conservatives. O.o
I also like this sort of pun - for Portuguese there's a whole comm of those in Lemmy, !tiodopave@lemmy.eco.br. Some in the same style as the meme, here's an example:
Rough translation: "The Christmas cement mixer is now on your screen! May all your dreams become concrete" (with "concrete" as both "real, palpable" and that cement mix)
Kinda hard to be on a power trip from the mod actions when the point is to mess with people. That definitely is a power trip in its own right, or can be, I just don't think of it as the same kind that this community focuses on, ya know? It's essentially semantics, or quibbling over things though, not something I'd get het up over. Anyone that thinks it is, I ain't mad :)
Sdf is usually a really chill old school tech instance based around a publicly accessible Unix server. However, in this case, a rogue account made a bunch of communities and being a transphobic chud while the admins are asleep/ being poked by the community (they’re mostly on said public Unix system).
