IRC is based. I hate that so many games these days only use discord. Such a bloated pile of shit when so many only use it to send messages.

Something only exists until it's banned. If we get to the point where they ban alternatives, I guarantee they'll start going after self-hosting next. Profit line must always go up, as they'd say.
