It is illegal to sell a firearm to someone who is not a resident of Arizona without going through a licensed dealer.
They can send them to a CA dealer for you in Arizona if it's a licensed dealer. It's just marginally cheaper for stuff like bulk ammo. Especially if you're going out that way.

Sure, but that dealer in CA will background check them, and it still has to be CA legal. "Just go to NV or AZ" makes it sound like they can do that to skirt laws, but they can't.
