Bies do be lookin according to OP
The neolithic revolution?
People who live in poverty could use this graph to plan the cheapest way to get their calories to avoid starving with very little money.
Is that what you're missing?
According to the article Australians are the worst in the world for clothing waste, on average buying 56 clothing items per person per year. That is fucking insane. I would say on average I buy maybe two clothing items per year. In my poverty time there were many years where that number was zero.
Does anyone have worldwide data on these stats?
I think the poster meant "they" as in South Korean society in general rather than the government.
Cool thing to learn thanks. I had never seen that angle of the statue of Liberty before. Never knew she was posed contrapossto.
Yes I am painfully aware.
You can! You just have to train your body to accept it by regularly eating spicy things.
Good for you for reevaluating your tastes. I try things I think I dislike every few years to see if I still dislike them. Sometimes it turns out my tastes have changed and they're great!
Dice it up real small with carrots and onion. Saute gently in butter. Now you have mirepoix, a delicious base for many foods. The flavor needs to be concentrated. Try celery salt as well to really taste the delicious flavor.
Yeah a ton of stuff that happens here directly violates the Constitution.
I like this one a lot more.
I just read about that. Seems that project is more like a way to say look how ridiculous this is we need to stop climate change.
We're on a thread about media literacy and this bot has positive upvotes.
From observing MBFC I can conclude it is far right.
We've tried this for a long time, to varying degrees of success, with public radio. I don't mean NPR although that will usually be a decent portion of local public radio.
I travel all the time. All over the US, although lately it's been limited to the middle/north east coast and Midwest. It's pretty fun to tune into the local public radio if you're close enough to get a signal. They can be really insightful like WAMU in DC about local stories.
They can be terrible like my local station that can only afford to run 1A (which is a good show) and a few localish music shows. The rest of the time is literally filled with fucking classical music. It's painful to listen to. Sorry to all the Bacchists and Mozartists out there but this shit sucks.
Anyway, check out the low end of the FM dial when you're traveling, you might collect some stations you like that you can stream later.
Guess my age:
I put on cable tv sometimes for background noise. I've got a free hookup.
I stream shows.
I've been pirating media since I was 13 years old.
I own a car, but I'm American and outside of the cities that have decent public transport.
I use the radio to listen to public radio. I could stream NPR just as easily but I travel a lot and check out local public radio.
I use Bluetooth to listen to podcasts and music.
I don't like Spotify much, and I suppose I have a YouTube account but I've never posted anything.
Profile me!
I mean News Corp lawyers testified in court that what is presented on Fox News is purely for entertainment and should not be considered news.
How many of the Fox Faithful know about that? And would anything change if they did?
So I have balls and yeah they're the first thing on my body to start to smell. I can skip a shower if I'm in a hurry and I don't smell much. That's with working a job that's usually physical. I was a punk kid fucking punk girls when I was younger and we didn't bathe every day. I didn't notice much smell then.
Now I see these ads regularly that are like hey women you stink after 12 hrs 5/10. What's up?
I went back on reddit for the first time in a week just to check out r/hyruleengineering today. To my surprise I see all these new builds using a new piece! It’s from the right leg depot in the depths. I picked it up today after watching a video on how to get it. It’s amazing! But definitely not intended for use by the devs. Thoughts?
By the way if anyone wants to join !HyruleEngineering@lemmy.world please do. It was my favorite sub on reddit and I'd love to see it active here.
