- I don't think this is a matter of planned vs unplanned, or that we should be focusing on it. The Chinese economy is a market one, with a very strong State presence in key sectors.
  The real highlight we need to be making is communist vs capitalist economy. Comrade Indrajit has a pretty good write-up on the same topic here. While I don't always agree with his takes I'm always inspired by his way of communicating clear and principled positions without fear or prevarication.
