Seems a bit silly to install an app to do what cyberchef does in a browser. Is there something else I'm missing?
- Not everyone likes to do that in the browser. They are mostly full with ads or other nonsense that read more data of your browser than needed. In addition, its Open Source and you can verify and even update the code. I used such tools in the browser a few times and always hated it. Such a native tool written in Rust is much, much better in my opinion.
