What is your current wallpaper, be it phone or desktop?

- It really drives me nuts that I don't know a name for that particular type of "unperturbed woodcut face in the sun" style.
  The "face in sun" thing is used in heraldry, so "sun in splendour" maybe kind of at least kind of encompasses it, but that doesn't entail the woodcut appearance.
  Maybe there is no term, but it seems so distinctive and such a common element in art that I'd think that someone would have named it.

It’s my wife and me in front of the Magic Kingdom. Then I used an AI app to convert us to Muppets. I then used the iPhone wallpaper filters when putting it on my home screen.

Currently have this on my phone. Someone posted it recently somewhere on lemmy and I'm a lesbian and my cat recently died so imagining her spooking around me warmed my heart a bit, even though I don't even believe in ghosts or anything like that ❤️‍🩹
On my desktop I have a black hole because i love the gravitational effect of seeing the accretion disc behind the black hole from the front of it

I made my desktop wallpaper with JSplacement before that project disappeared off the internet. The background is pretty boring because i wanted some color, but knew that i would rarely see it (I always have multiple layers of programs opened at all times)
My phone's pixel art wallpaper was made in photoshop (turns out that's a really bad program for pixel art)

  I don't remember the full story, but it seems like the dev got fed up with feature requests/bug rapports so they decided to delete the source code and their online accounts.

My current wallpaper is Hornet from Hollow Knight, but it cycles between around 150 pictures

My roommate made it during a literal fever dream over a decade ago, he was in bed, fiddling with his phone's photo editor mumbling "I have a vision" over and over again. The tag line "he called me a ne'er do well, he's dead" was something I said while playing GTA next to him at that time, and he added the quote to the final image.
It's weirdly cropped since I've used it on different phones over the years, here's what it looks like now.

My desktop wallpaper is the default Windows 10 wallpaper, and occasionally something on Wallpaper Engine.

I don't have one of those things at the moment, but there is the other thing, which I currently use alongside an ipad, which would show those of us who go to rehearsal at a post-rehearsal event.

This is my current mobile wallpaper and this is my current desktop wallpaper! Although this reminds me that it's about time to pick a new wallpaper for my desktop since it's been a few months.

I have a looping video of the beach, when I was on vacation, and the phone automatically crops it to fit the full screen.

I just find it relaxing to watch during my work breaks and lunches when stressed.

I took a hike up Mission Peak (Fremont, CA, US) some number of years ago and had to stop 3/4 the way up as it was too muddy, but I got a good shot of the bay and have been using it on my phone since. It also has this weird feature where the lighting on it also makes it look bright but cloudy to dark and stormy depending on screen brightness.

I changed the wallpaper once in a blue moon every time I set up a new device, these two from 4 years ago when I first bought the phone.
I always just search "Oled wallpaper" and it usually return somekind of astronout just because of the black element.
