I hate it when you need two ingredients for something, and you find out they are out of the second one and itd be a really long way to put back the first one

It's not my responsibility. The store literally wants shoppers to do this, and they specifically pay people to specifically do this task. The store wants people to spend their time and energy shopping for more items instead of expending themselves returning a bag of muffins to a shelf all the way on the other side of the store.
