I get where you're coming from, but videos like this are important. They show the truth of what happened and make sure it's not forgotten. It's not just for shock, it's to document history and hold people accountable.
It helps because it can be a counter to whatever propaganda Putin is feeding to his populace. It won't be spread far and wide, but this video's existence shows the reality of a completely avoidable war that leads to what you pointed out: dead people from fighting someone else's war.
I agree with your initial comment. I understand why these videos get posted, to counter Russia propaganda about their 3 day special military operation. To show just how poorly it’s going for the Russian military is important.
The comment section though is always ugh. Like fuck the Rusfed army for being there but perpetually online losers looking at bodies of humans and gleefully exclaiming them to be fertiliser is sick.
You can decide for yourself what you get out of this content. There is very little cheering going on, but you just can't avoid some of the sorrow of war if you want to stay informed about the war to a certain level.
People who murder, rape, torture and plunder. They all made their choice, even if that choice was complacency. In the end, they became aggressors, and consequently taken out, as they should. The moment you cross the border into Ukraine, you're an invader.
