..then I looked at the other side and I have no idea what the fuck is going on. Is this a generated picture like that Netflix documentary?
6 0 ReplyYou have it right, he had thick lenses for myopia, looks like. The edges are polished, so they have a distortion effect when lit the way they are, from above. Looks like his left eye was way more corrected than the left, as well.
Source: I'm blind as fuck and can relate to this distortion in pictures.

Edit: I shouldn't say bad, there's no perfect solution and it's a difficult thing to make work at all.
