German football club leaves X, warning Elon Musk ‘capable of influencing German election’
In a post on the club’s website on Thursday, St. Pauli said “Elon Musk had turned a space for debate into an amplifier of hate that was capable of influencing the German parliamentary election campaign.”
Given St. Paul's reputation for left-wing activism, kinda surprised they were still on Twitter for this long.
58 0 ReplyThere are a lot of leftists still "fighting the good fight" on Xitter, even if the platform is pitted against them and all they do is drive engagement to it. I never understood why some people can't bring themselves to leave. I left reddit for much less.
35 0 ReplyThis only makes sense when the owner of the platform isn't actively driving the conversation to the right.

Also for a lot of people, their social circle is partly there.
i.e. I use discord because my partners do so even if I know that it sucks.

l think Xitter going to be first sosial media to die, because of heavy bias.
