Koodo charging 3G users extra $3/mo to cover maintenance costs
According to a FAQ page on Koodo's website, customers with a 3G device will see an extra $3/mo charge on their bill.
Koodo also will increase the price of your plan if they no longer offer it.
Signed up for a $34/30Gb last Nov, July they increased it by $5 then Sept another $5 atop the $3 for something I don't use.
I switched to Coextro after getting fed up with similar price gouging from Koodo. Coextro uses a 3rd party for their billing, which I don't love, but I pay $81.30/mo for mobile service and home internet (combined) without a contract
