When we can expect beta version?
And when aprohimatly we can expect stable version..? For a year or more?

They seem to have been moving fairly quickly on the alpha, but I don't think they'll have a beta version until sometime next year, and beta cycles can sometimes run longer than the alpha cycles.
If I was a betting person, I'd expect RC1 in 2026.

Omg thats not wery soon at all 😮 Idk why we even talked about and waited for first alfa release. It wasnt worth talk at all before it came out, if stable verson is soo far away.. I love pop os but i wont wait for new cosmic desktop anymore, when it comes it comes. I wont think about it before stable release.

Nope, the hype around it is because it's a Rust-based DE whose features compete with Hyprland and Gnome while hopefully improving upon both.
People are excited for what it promises to be, but it's not even close to fully cooked, though several people have found that the current features work for their day to day usage. I don't really want to have to deal with bugs or big changes, so I'll also be waiting.

Carl Richell (System76 CEO) mentioned at the Ubuntu Summit that they're expecting a Beta in January or February.
