Cradle of Filth, Malignant Perfection

I stopped listening to CoF after Nymphetamine, but I've always appreciated their commitment to the gothic, sort of Halloween schtick. I listened to them before I even knew what black metal was, so they were definitely a gateway band for me.
- Yeah, IMO they found their sound on From the Cradle to Enslave -> Midian -> Bitter Suites era; tried something different when they got all that Sony money for Damnation; and then reverted back to this sound on every album since then. Like Megadeth or AC/DC, you know what you're going to get.
  
  Good to see they are still out there touring. IIRC, Dani Filth turned 51 in July.

- Yup, or as least afaik it is. I'm not deepinto CoF, so I could have missed it before, but I don't think I did
