I have 24 GB on my M2. The real news is Apple finally having a good amount of RAM in the base model.

1 0 Reply... and here I just upgraded my windows / linux laptops to 32gb unified memory ram...
edit: salty downvoters don't know I used to run intel macbooks and would always max out the RAM on them... it made them run good.
Also Windows ran faster than macOS on the same systems.

M3s Tablets just generally Has a keyboard Doesn't always have a keyboard Soldered Ram Soldered Ram Not designed to run anything other than MacOS Not designed to run anything other than a specific OS Arm processor Arm processor Soldered Memory Soldered memory the only real difference is that laptops have a track pad. It's literally a fancy tablet with a dedicated keyboard.
