The HMNZS Manawanui - a specialist dive and hydrographic vessel - was conducting a reef survey when it hit the reef on Saturday night.
Reef successfully surveyed. Results: it's there.
- Well, it was.... That ship is going to release so many hydrocarbons, the reef may not survive.
- How strong do you think that reef is?
  Only one way to know!

  Identifying reef: “Yup, it’s a reef.”
- Was there.
Feel bad for the crew, but damn I love that succinct punchy headline.

Yeah, that’s not very typical, I’d like to make that point.
They certainly have the element of surprise down. That ship is doing the three things you generally don't expect a ship to do.
