The one where the writers worked themselves to death and were replaced by a robot that ruined the show?
Which part was bad timing?
I think he's referencing the Writer's Guild strike which has been ongoing since May.
I believe they're implying that those jokes are actually a perfect metaphor for what the writers are striking about.
