Recommendation: Manifold Mirror Mage: Legendary Magic on a Common Budget

Overall this is a good story. You will probably like it if you like magic-academy stories. At least in the part I read so far, the story is good, not perfect but very enjoyable. It especially does a good job with the world building.

Description:

Working class student Giorgio deGloria has a lofty goal - to become one of the most powerful archmages in the City of Rings, and to explore the depths of the Crystal Ring Academy- a sprawling dungeon-turned-college at the heart of the city. But in order to move up in the world, he has to compete with his wealthy classmates for the incredibly limited attention span of the few instructors in the ringed city that will give an unawoken mage the time of day. His classmates all have spell books full of unique and expensive magics, but Gio only has access to one uncommon spell starting the semester-  Reflect.
