Standing by the docks in downtown Nanaimo, B.C., on Monday morning, Liberal MP Alexandre Mendes told Radio-Canada she came to this week's Liberal caucus retreat with a message from her constituents: "dozens and dozens" of them were "adamant" the Liberal Party needed a new leader.
Speaking later to CBC's Power & Politics, Mendes said it was hard to pinpoint a specific reason or issue to explain her constituents' feelings for the prime minister.
"It's a very generalized ... 'we're tired of his face' kind of thing," she explained.
Trudeau underestimates how many people will vote against their own best interests because of a grudge.
And when their social services are cut, and they're made homeless, or sick / dead / disabled because they couldn't get the healthcare they needed, they'll still find a way to blame anyone other than the people responsible for extending their misery.
"I think a lot of people, when they listen to Poilievre and the things that he says, eventually they'll decide, 'OK, maybe I don't like Trudeau, but I really don't like Poilievre,'" Marcus Powlowski, the Liberal MP for Thunder Bay–Rainy River, told a group of reporters on Wednesday.
Yeah. Hoping that because PP is dumber than bag of marbles will help Trudeau win is a sad excuse to vote for more of the same lackadaisical leadership for another four years.
And that leaves us with another Con shitheel in power ... again.
If I were an MP and this was my party's official line, I would be very worried.
You need people to want to vote for you, if you don't give then something they'll just not vote, like in Ontario, which only boosts the CPC who are energized and angry.
