I can't say I really understand or respect these small parties trying to run presidential campaigns. All it does is take money and time away from what should be spent on local elections. If you want to affect real change you got to build yourself from the ground up. City councils, Mayors, school boards, state congressman, etc... these are where we can make positive changes and build for future success. Show people that it can be better by being better.
I'm sure there's some logic to it, however I just think it's generally ineffective. As we have clearly seen.
Um, if you mean me, I've made over 400 posts and comments promoting socialist causes to socialist communties. Feel free to see my post history. In fact, feel free to see how many articles I have posted to the socialist comm at world: https://lemmy.world/c/socialist
If you meant her, well I think she's genuine and not right-wing at all.
So try again. Obviously you are scared that more and more people know how much you worship the current corrupt capitalist duopoly, and you don’t want the current system to change. So you go ahead and keep trying to confuse people.
This capitalist duopoly is what keeps the food moving from where it is produced to where i can buy it. This world is fucked and unfair but i dont see how voting for a fringe candidate in 1 election is going to fix anything. Nor do i see how you posting crap online is furthering the revolution.
If you care about eliminating the two party system, voting for a spoiler candidate and handing the presidency to Trump will absolutely do it. You'll end up with a one-party system (dictatorship).
The two party system sucks, but anyone trying to convince you that it is on the ballot in November is lying to you.
Kamala is the only chance we have at avoiding full-blown Fascism in America. Anyone telling you to vote against her doesn't see fascism as a dealbreaker.
Especially you, UniversalMonk, since you constantly post about third party candidates to a degree that everyone knows your agenda, and you openly admit that you would welcome a Trump presidency should he win.
