Well my main point is that plenty of the people who live there are good people. They are not crazy right-wing evangelicals. Every single one of those states has progressive enclaves.
Suggesting you kill millions of people because some or even many of them are bad is, in itself quite morally questionable, but when you take all the people into account that have not done any wrong, including all of the infants, it become unquestionably immoral by almost any standard.
on the contrary, i think it is unquestionably immoral to allow trillions more people to be born into our current society. we probably could have solved global warming and be living in a utopia if we hadn't had christian nationalists obstructing reasonably policy for the last century.
you don't think wiping out the votes of OK would allow american policy to move toward useful legislation? american policy, which in turn affects the majority of the world?
it would definitely make the senate move left, which would make a lot of difference.
for the record, i'm in favor of getting rid of ALL religious extremists, which would include most of israel AND palestine. i'm pretty goddamn sure the world would be a better place if the only people making policy decisions were rational, critical thinkers.
And yet your 'kill all the infants in the place I don't like for what I consider to be the greater good' is literally Israeli policy. Making you a non-religious extremist. I'm not sure why you think that makes you especially different from them.
we got enough babies in the world. can't make an omelet without cracking a few eggs.
EDIT: people that clutch their pearls at the death of babies have to be some of the least critical thinking people in the world. it's a baby. it doesn't have a clue what's going on. if it dies in its sleep, it's spared a lifetime of suffering. the people that insist every baby must live are fucking sadists. you realize that you're aligning yourself with pro-lifers, right?
