State wastewater data shows the levels in Massachusetts are more than twice the national average. That's based on testing done at the end of July. National numbers are also higher than normal.
Massachusetts is among the 19 states in the CDC's "very high" range. The rest of New England is also in that range. Emergency room visits are at their highest rates since February.
This is the most COVID activity in Massachusetts since last winter.
My partner and I finally got covid for the first time. We are in day 8 of being sick, but luckily we've been able to isolate and are feeling much better. Hailing from Florida. Covid is definitely going around down here.
I just got over it myself for the first time. Got it from my friend's kids when we all went out to see Deadpool. Fucking miserable business, do not recommend. Deadpool was great, though.
Grats on dodging until this point, especially way back during the omicron wave (it and a poor decision got me)! Hope you're back to normal soon. Feel better.
Just found out half the party I was at the other day now has it. Several friends all have it. Probably the most people who simultaneously have it that I actually know since that first big wave came through. Fortunately for most they seem to be pretty mild.
