I've created a status page for lemmy.ca available at https://status.lemmy.ca/
The uptime bar and response times graph at the top are automatically populated, with the details below manually added.
I'll try to keep this up to date with smaller changes that might not be worthy of a post to this community.
Should put this in the sidebar as well.

You could also redirect to the page if NGINX isn't finding Lemmy.

This is great to have! It's more relevant than ever with the various attacks and outages hitting Lemmy servers, until now posts on other servers was the only way to tell which server is down and why.
Anyway you can include this link if your error page? It'll be useful when things go boom and we're wondering if it was boom or BOOM. ;)
Not easily atm, looks like I'd have to patch the lemmy-ui container.
I've been resisting manually patching things until I have more time, but yes I'd like to get support in for a custom error link.
How's better stack compared to uptime kuma?

Uptime kuma we'd have to self host, and since we only have a single server today I'm not too keen on hosting the status page on the same infra as the site. What's the point of a status page if it's possibly down when the site is down?
We're just on the free plan of better stack, it meets our minimal needs and didn't take much time to get up.
Open to other alternatives if anyone can suggest any free cloud based ones, I just settled on better stack after trying out a few.
